12 Short Cumberland sausages
Short pork sausages in the Cumberland style
12 rashers Streaky bacon
A rasher of streaky bacon
½ tsp Black pepper
Freshly ground black pepper
Steps
Heat the oven
Heat the oven to 200°C
Wrap
Wrap each short Cumberland sausage in a rasher of streaky bacon, with the seam underneath. Grind over a little black pepper
Roast
Roast for 30 to 35 minutes, turning once, until the bacon is crisp and the sausages are cooked through
